Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today announced that it will be exhibiting its latest technology solutions at Power System Japan, a focused exhibition on power systems at Techno-Frontier 2011, being held at the Tokyo Big Sight from July 20 to 22, 2011. On display in booth 3T-211, Vishay will feature its broad portfolio of industry-leading semiconductors and passive electronic components. Vishay’s line-up for Techno-Frontier 2011 is listed below.
Resistors: Vishay will be highlighting its new contactless sensors featuring Hall effect technology for high performance in conditions involving high-frequency vibrations up to 20 G and shocks up to 50 G. Inventive SMD resistor solutions — including professional automotive thin film chip resistors — will be on display, in addition to high-current Power metal Strip? shunts for power meter and battery management applications.
Inductors: For voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc converter applications in a wide range of end products, Vishay will be showcasing the industry’s smallest and largest SMD composite inductors, in addition to the industry’s thinnest high-current inductor.
Capacitors: Vishay ESTA power capacitors will be on display, along with DC-link polypropylene film capacitors and high-reliability MicroTan? tantalum capacitors featuring screening options including Weibull failure rate grading for critical medical and military/aerospace applications.
Diodes: Vishay will be showcasing a range of new diodes optimized for solar cell bypass protection, lighting applications, desktop power supplies, and more. Highlighted products include the 45 V TMBS? Series rectifiers; 200 V and 600 V FRED Pt? hyperfast and ultrafast rectifiers in power packages; low-profile, SMD standard, fast, and ultrafast avalanche rectifiers; 200 V and 600 V FRED Pt hyperfast and ultrafast rectifiers in the D-PAK package; and low forward voltage drop bridge rectifiers.
MOSFETs: On display will be Vishay’s space-saving PowerPAIR? solutions, which integrate multiple optimized low-voltage MOSFETs to replace conventional discrete solutions. Also featured will be next-generation 40 V to 100 V MOSFETs with industry low on-resistance in the PowerPAK? SO-8 package, and high-voltage MOSFETs featuring Super Junction technology that combine ultra-low on-resistance with 100 % tested avalanche capability.
Power ICs: Vishay’s high-precision analog multiplexer series will be featured, in addition to integrated synchronous buck regulators and DrMOS integrated power stages to provide space savings and increase efficiency.
Optoelectronics: Highlighted products will include IGBT and MOSFET drivers, in addition to the industry’s first integrated proximity and ambient light optical sensor to combine an IR emitter, PIN photo diode, ambient light detector, signal processing IC, and a 16-bit ADC in one small 3.95 mm x 3.95 mm x 0.75 mm leadless, surface-mount package.
